Conservation: Neighborhood Power Project

City Light's Neighborhood Power Project is a strategy to effectively deliver multi-agency conservation and resource management services to targeted neighborhoods in the City of Seattle.

Our new neighborhood for July 2009 to June 2010 is Green Lake/Wallingford.

Mission:
  • To capture savings from multiple resources: Energy, Water, Wastewater and Solid Waste Management.
  • To contribute to Seattle's efforts in environmental stewardship and sustainability.
  • To facilitate economic growth and development in Seattle neighborhoods.

Goal:
  • Save precious resources we can no longer afford to waste: energy, water and the environment.
  • Build strong partnerships between the City of Seattle and neighborhoods.
  • Promote collaboration among City Departments to deliver services most efficiently.
